Overview
Odesa is a city in Ukraine. About 1.0 million people live in the city proper, making it the 3rd largest city of Ukraine in our atlas.
It lies at 46.49° N, 30.74° E, about 50 m (164 ft) above sea level, and keeps time on the Europe/Kyiv time zone.

Climate
Odesa has a humid subtropical climate (Köppen Cfa). The warmest month is usually Jul, with average highs near 29°C (85°F); the coolest nights come in Jan at about -4°C (25°F). Around 474 mm (19 in) of rain and snow falls in a typical year, spread fairly evenly through the year.
