Overview
Dnipro is a city in Ukraine, in Dnipropetrovsk. About 968,502 people live in the city proper, making it the 4th largest city of Ukraine in our atlas.
It lies at 48.47° N, 35.04° E, about 120 m (394 ft) above sea level, and keeps time on the Europe/Kyiv time zone.

Climate
Dnipro has a continental (hot summer) climate (Köppen Dfa). The warmest month is usually Jul, with average highs near 30°C (86°F); the coolest nights come in Jan at about -9°C (17°F). Around 549 mm (22 in) of rain and snow falls in a typical year, spread fairly evenly through the year.
