Assomada is a city in Cape Verde, in Santa Catarina. About 21,297 people live in the city proper, making it the 4th largest city of Cape Verde in our atlas.
It lies at 15.10° N, 23.68° W, about 391 m (1,283 ft) above sea level, and keeps time on the Atlantic/Cape_Verde time zone. It sits inside the tropics.
