Overview
Santo Domingo Este is a city in Dominican Republic, in Santo Domingo Province. About 700,000 people live in the city proper, making it the 4th largest city of Dominican Republic in our atlas.
It lies at 18.49° N, 69.85° W, about 41 m (135 ft) above sea level, and keeps time on the America/Santo_Domingo time zone. It sits inside the tropics.
