Overview
Nha Trang is a city in Vietnam, in Khanh Hoa. About 579,000 people live in the city proper, making it the 11th largest city of Vietnam in our atlas.
It lies at 12.25° N, 109.19° E, about 10 m (33 ft) above sea level, and keeps time on the Asia/Ho_Chi_Minh time zone. It sits inside the tropics.

Climate
Nha Trang has a tropical savanna climate (Köppen Aw). The warmest month is usually May, with average highs near 30°C (85°F); the coolest nights come in Jan at about 23°C (74°F). Around 1,573 mm (62 in) of rain and snow falls in a typical year, most of it in Nov.
