Overview
Istaravshan is a city in Tajikistan, in Sughd. About 273,500 people live in the city proper, making it the 3rd largest city of Tajikistan in our atlas.
It lies at 39.91° N, 69.00° E, about 979 m (3,212 ft) above sea level, and keeps time on the Asia/Dushanbe time zone.
