Overview
Hrazdan is a city in Armenia, in Kotayk. About 49,500 people live in the city proper, making it the 5th largest city of Armenia in our atlas.
It lies at 40.52° N, 44.76° E, about 1,702 m (5,584 ft) above sea level, and keeps time on the Asia/Yerevan time zone.

Climate
Hrazdan has a continental (warm summer) climate (Köppen Dfb). The warmest month is usually Aug, with average highs near 24°C (76°F); the coolest nights come in Jan at about -12°C (11°F). Around 390 mm (15 in) of rain and snow falls in a typical year, most of it in May.
