Overview
Gitarama is a city in Rwanda, in Southern Province. About 87,613 people live in the city proper, making it the 5th largest city of Rwanda in our atlas.
It lies at 2.07° S, 29.76° E, about 1,824 m (5,984 ft) above sea level, and keeps time on the Africa/Kigali time zone. It sits inside the tropics.
