Overview
Dubai is a city in United Arab Emirates. About 3.8 million people live in the city proper, making it the 1st largest city of United Arab Emirates in our atlas.
It lies at 25.08° N, 55.31° E, about 24 m (79 ft) above sea level, and keeps time on the Asia/Dubai time zone.

Climate
Dubai has a hot desert climate (Köppen BWh). The warmest month is usually Aug, with average highs near 39°C (103°F); the coolest nights come in Jan at about 17°C (63°F). Around 85 mm (3 in) of rain and snow falls in a typical year, most of it in Jan.
