Overview

Chelyabinsk is a city in Russia. About 1.2 million people live in the city proper, making it the 7th largest city of Russia in our atlas.

It lies at 55.16° N, 61.43° E, about 232 m (761 ft) above sea level, and keeps time on the Asia/Yekaterinburg time zone. At this high latitude, summer days are very long and winter days very short.
