Balkanabat is a city in Turkmenistan, in Balkan. About 87,822 people live in the city proper, making it the 6th largest city of Turkmenistan in our atlas.
It lies at 39.51° N, 54.37° E, about 11 m (36 ft) above sea level, and keeps time on the Asia/Ashgabat time zone.
